In this presentation Han Kuk Mu Ki Do™ (Traditional Korean Weapons) Founder, Grandmaster James S. Benko, 9th Degree Black Belt, covers the Tahn Do Li Ga, the Korean version of the Nunchaku.
There are two common names for the
nunchaku in Korean, "Ee Chul Bong" (Two-Section Stick), and the more appropriate name, "Tahn Do Li Ga" (Short Flail). Nunchaku is the Japanese word for Tahn Do Li Ga.
Grandmaster Benko demonstrates the 2 Han Kuk Mu Ki Do Korean Nunchaku Patterns (Hyungs): IL Tahn Do Li Ga Hyung (1st Korean Nunchaku Pattern),
and EE Tahn Do Li Ga Hyung (2nd Korean Nunchaku Patterns.
The main focus of this presentation is on the patterns of the Korean Nunchaku. Different views of each pattern include, Front View, Right Side View and Left Side View.
Each pattern is shown at a normal speed and at a slow speed.
